Red Sangria
Our proprietary blend of fortified red wine infused with orange cognac, apple liqueur, and spices is no exception. I knew it was important to make BadCat's Sangria approachable for all, while staying true to this classic drink: there is some speculation that the beverage has its origins in the 19th century Caribbean, but the modern form of the beverage did not find popularity in the U.S. until it had crossed back over from Spain to the 1964 World’s Fair in NYC.
Given the limitations of social distancing, fans of the beverage in a social setting may not want to commit to making an entire pitcher, or may want a way to share a batch ‘in spirit’. With the 16oz jar, I provide a smoother and more refreshing experience than boxed or jugged varieties from the store. BadCat Cocktails even provides the fruit garnish so you (or your friend) can open and enjoy.
